The name Wild Goose comes from my childhood nickname, “Goose," and also celebrates who God has called me to be today—a wife to Sam and mama to four little goslings of our own.

Fun fact: my married last name, Wilgus, actually comes from the English nickname “Wildgoose,” so this name felt especially fitting for my small business venture.

Ever since becoming a mom, I have developed a genuine interest in researching children’s toys and products that would help enrich our kiddos' childhood experience. My goal through this small business is to come alongside other moms and share in the journey of motherhood together. Motherhood is exhausting, messy, and beautiful all at the same time, and it truly does "take a village" to raise these babies.

The words from Proverbs 16:9 speak to me often (as a mom and when pursuing future goals like this small business): “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.” My best laid plans often go awry, but I know the One who holds my children, and that gives me such peace and comfort. God's love and grace abound.
